Drought Stress. Implications for Baluchistan’s food production

Baluchistan is a region that spans with the natural resources, it is characterized by a divers land escape that includes mountains deserts and coastal areas as well as rich in natural resources, including minerals, natural gas and oil, it faces various challenges, including climate action, severe droughts, adaptation, precipitation, , climate resilience and so on. As the research of my findings like many other regions around the world, is affected by climate change. The impacts of climate change in Baluchistan are diverse and can have significant consequences for the environment, agriculture, food production, economy and livelihood of the people in the region, One of I consider severe droughts, Baluchistan faces extreme weather events, climate change is associated with an increase in the frequency and intensity of extreme weather, events, such as floods, droughts, economy crises  unhealthy nutrition ,diseases of different types and heatwaves etc. Balochistan is vulnerable to such events which can disrupt communities ,damage infrastructure and impact agriculture changes in the timing and distribution of rainfall can affect agricultural practices and crop yields, irregular rainfall patterns may lead to water scarcity or excess water, both of which can be problematic for the regions agriculture it also impact on ecosystem of Balochistan including changes in temperature , precipitation and other environment factors can disrupt ecological balance and biodiversity.Water scarcity is one of the biggest issues that will affect social economic prospectively like agriculture loss, biodiversity loss ,economic loss, labour loss and wild species extension.Long term water loss will effect biodiversity ecosystem loss, wild species loss, low precipitation will also effect Evoransportation , ground water table and humidity ,water storage in the dam ,efficient use of water, water recycling and tax on excessive use of water,According to the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) is the membership union composed of both Government and Civil society organization,it contain on 1400 member organizations, and the  quantity of  some expertise to  provide public ,private and non_Government organizations with the help of basic knowledge and tools that enable human progress ,economic development and nature conservation to take place its experts are organized into six commissions like species  survival, environmental law, protected areas, social and economic policy, ecosystem management ,and education and communication.Basically IUCN works to develop best practices and approaches that enable effective conservation and help sites achieve high standards ,while also informing professional capacity development and influencing national and global policy.Only reliable climate policies framework and application will work to mitigation.Like as ,climate reliance policies .Adaptation for use of current resources technological involvement. On the importance of the main role ,Like artificial precipitation help to continue the ecosystem cycle ,ergo-agriculture can help efficient use of water.Communities better prepared for future from drought affections to efficient use of  water and tax for excessive use.

The impact of severe droughts on the agriculture is having serious affects on our healthy and fruitful production,it totally damage the agriculture production and has a significant economic and social impact.Droughts become a posing threat to food security and farmer’s livelihood effects climate change on crop productivity which may have implications for food availability.Balochistan is one of the most vulnerable province in Pakistan to climate change ,which challenges its food security ,its major effects can be identified production of agricultural a risk to fisheries ,and under nutrition. In Balochistan there is no basic or significant management or planning to give climate change and adaptation practices ,according to my survey ignorance of the Government on this alarming issues all over the world had been committed to resolves the issues behind its various forms of climate action .We should execute and plan for suitable policies and programs, useful and adaptable strategies. Droughts can depleted soil moisture level, leading to reduced fertility and nutrient agricultural output due to decrease in the supply of food products .This imbalance between supply and demand often results in higher food prices ,that is the main problematic element for food production and under the nutrition facts to damage the grass root level  for the economy and the for the public by climate action. Therefore the solution with the collaboration with Sustainable Development Goals can be a main crucial role in addressing and mitigation the issues associated with severe droughts by taking the sustainable practices, communities and resilience, conserve resources ,and promote long-term environmental and social well-being must have climate resilient polices develop and implement policies that promote sustainable development and climate resilience including regulations on  water use ,land management , and emissions.Reliable water storage ensures a consistent water supply during changing climate conditions. This is vital for agriculture, industries, and households, reducing vulnerability to water scarcity during prolonged periods of low precipitation or increased evaporation.Incorporate sustainable design principles into buildings and infrastructure projects. Use eco-friendly materials, optimize energy efficiency, and design with climate resilience in mind.Promote environmental education and awareness among project teams, stakeholders, and the broader community. Encourage a culture of environmental responsibility and sustainable practices.
